When my son was little, we lived just outside of Vail, Colorado. We'd take him up the gondola to the beginner slope and tell him to look out the window and see if he could spot any yetis. I always figured if there's going to be a yeti out there, why wouldn't he know how to ski? It's way more fun to ski away from everyone trying to spot you than to try to run through a couple feet of powder.
